Job Description
This position would work directly for the Sr. Vice President of Development, Facilities and Construction, in the Construction department.
Seeking a talented and experienced Construction Project Manager who is hard working, collaborative and passionate about solving complex problems on a growing team.
Core Responsibilities :
- Create a comprehensive work plan that specifies project scope, objectives and criteria for evaluation : Establish parameters of project budgets, approve expenditures and ensure that financial data are accurately recorded and reportedIdentify and efficiency allocate resources necessary for project completion, including hours, facilities, equipment, funds etc.
Contribute on risk identification as it applies to interpreting contracts, codes, disputes and resolutionSupervise and direct project activities assigned by senior management
- Schedule workflow as needed for project completion, meeting deadlines and requirementsIdentify, sequence, assign, monitor and track vendor activities, tasks and project performanceNegotiate and prepare agreements for successful execution of work, including bid packages and contract documentsEstablish communication schedule for the purpose of providing regular status updates to senior management, including operations
- Manage all project documents including submittals, RFI’s, RFP’s and project meeting minutesInspect construction work for conformance with the contract requirements
